"No More Weapons" Billboard Erected on US-Mexico Border

In pleading to the United States to stop the flow of weapons into his country, Mexico’s president, Felipe Calderón has erected a huge billboard at the US-Mexico border which reads “No More Weapons.”

The billboard is made from crushed firearms that were seized across Mexico by local, state and federal authorities, and is clearly visible from within the US.

"Dear friends of the United States, Mexico needs your help to stop this terrible violence that we're suffering," he said in English during the unveiling ceremony. "The best way to do this is to stop the flow of automatic weapons into Mexico."

President Felipe hopes US Heads of States will take both his and his country’s billboard, plight and plea seriously.
